Setting up your library will look slightly different depending on which Westwood Instrument you've purchased, and which version of Kontakt you are using. Below we'll go through the main differences loading a Kontakt FULL library versus Kontakt PLAYER, as well as some version-specific features you may find in specific versions of Kontakt as a whole. Kontakt PLAYER Libraries
In most cases, once you have authorised your library in Native Access, your library will automatically appear when you next launch a new instance of Kontakt. This could be in your DAW, or using Kontakt as a standalone application.
Kontakt 6
Check the workspace menu at the top of Kontakt to ensure that the Browser is enabled:
The Libraries tab displays all Kontakt libraries that are installed within the Browser on the lefthand side:
Kontakt 7
Opening Kontakt 7 will default to the Library Browser view. The Library Browser displays all Kontakt libraries that are installed. Scroll through the browser and click the picture icon for your library. This will display a list of instrument presets on the right:
You can, however, revert to the classic browser from previous Kontakt versions. First, click the Browser icon to close the Library Browser:
Check the workspace menu at the top of Kontakt to ensure that the Side Pane is enabled:
If you still don't see the Side Pane, ensure that the Minimise function is not enabled:
Kontakt FULL Libraries

In order to load a Kontakt FULL library, you will need to utilise the Files Browser within Kontakt:
You will need to locate the install location from within the Files Browser and double click the .nki file to open the instrument.
You can make these libraries more accessible within Kontakt 6 by utilising the Quick-Load Catalog. Here’s a video tutorial:
Kontakt 7
While your libraries can be accessed in Kontakt using the same method as outlined above via the Files Browser, Kontakt 7 offers an additional option.
Make sure you have the Library Browser open:
Click the cogwheel in the bottom left to open the Import Content window and click Add:
From the file browser that appears, just locate your instrument folder, select and confirm your selection and close the window. Your library will now appear within the main Library Browser for Kontakt 7.
