Loading Westwood Presets
Our Kontakt PLAYER libraries utilise Snapshots to load various Presets that accompany the library you've purchased. These are easy to load in any version of Kontakt.
Once you have your library loaded within Kontakt, click on the Camera icon, then select the downward arrow shown here to bring up the preset (or snapshot) menu:
From the submenus listed you will be able to choose from the different snapshots that we've crafted for you.
Saving Your Own Snapshots
If you have spent time dialling in your own sound within one of our libraries, you can save it as a Snapshot to load it quickly in any of your sessions.
Once you have your sound crafted, you'll see a Floppy Disk icon towards the right of the Kontakt info panel.
Click here to save your sound and you will see the option to give your Snapshot a name. Type in and click Save, then you will see a new User section available when loading your snapshots:
Where Are My Snapshots Saved?
Your Snapshots or Presets will not be saved within your normal Westwood Instruments folder. The exact file path will differ depending on your library, but here are the locations for finding your Kontakt Presets, using Electric Home Piano as an example:
Mac
Macintosh HD/Users/<User Name>/Documents/Native Instruments/User Content/Electric Home Piano/Electric Home Piano/My Woozy Keys.nksn
Windows
C:\Users\<User Name>\My Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Electric Home Piano\Electric Home Piano\My Woozy Keys.nksn
