What happened to the Untamed Collection?

The Untamed Series was built around one idea: real human energy in every single note. Not phrases, not loops — individual notes performed with intention, movement, and soul. Improvised, expressive, and alive. From fragile whispers to furious, unpredictable chaos, there is simply nothing else on the market that sounds like this. These were the sounds that made us but, due to various, careful considerations, the Untamed collection has been retired.

We will always look after customers who have invested in our products, and that includes the Untamed Collection. If the answers outlined in this article don't address your question, please feel free to submit a ticket below.

How do I download my previously purchased Untamed products?

You can still use your serials to download any of the Untamed products via Pulse.

If you don’t already have Pulse, download it using the link here. It’s free and available for Mac and Windows.

Open Pulse and register a user name and password or enter your existing Pulse details.

Note! this is NOT the same as your Westwood Instruments account name and password.

You will have received a purchase email that contains your unique product serial number. If you are unable to locate this email, you can always find your product serials on the My Account > Orders section of the website.

Once logged into Pulse, you should see your previously registered Untamed products in your Library. If not, you can click on “+ Add a Product” towards the top right and copy and paste your Westwood Instrument serial into the pop up window.

You will be asked where you would like to save the instrument. Choose a suitable location with enough free space and click download. A progress bar will track your download progress.
